Hiking & Nature Programs
Guests can explore our 5,500-acre, mountain estate on foot
or by bike. Skytop features miles of scenic hiking and biking
trails, with varying difficulty levels for all to enjoy.
During the nature walks, the naturalist points out woodland
wildflowers, migrating and nesting birds, reptiles and amphibians,
and signs of many of the area's exciting wildlife, including
black bear, otter, porcupine, beaver, coyote, bobcat, mink,
and other species. Some of these animals are very secretive,
but occasionally they are glimpsed as they cross the trails
and travel through the forest.
Skim across beautiful waters of Skytop Lake in a boat, kayak
or canoe - all available through the lodge. Perfect for
relaxation or fitness, boating at Skytop is a inspiring
way to spend your day.
Golf School and Instruction
The Brian Boyle School of Golf at Skytop is a PGA recognized
golf school that teaches fundamentals of grip, aim, setup
and impact position so you can become a more complete and
consistent player. The school also stresses chipping, putting
and bunker play for working toward a dependable short game.
Beginners and low handicappers alike can improve their game
with our professional staff's guidance. You'll increase
your potential by developing your swing according to your
body structure and flexibility. The school includes 6 hours
of instruction, video analysis, range balls, take home instructional
manuals, clubs (if needed) and refreshments. Private 2-day
golf schools can also be scheduled with a minimum of 4 students.

Classes for youngsters are also available placing emphasis
on swing fundamentals, grip, aim and setup, along with chipping,
putting and bunker play. Safety, rules and etiquette are
also stressed. Classes are held 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and
cost about $135.00 per person. When available.

Pocono Mountains, on an 18-hole championship course that
is rated among the finest in the East. Their course from
the back tees measures 6,656 yards with a slope rating of
133, and forward tees 5,789, and is sloped at a 122 rating.
Golf Getaway includes all golf and greens fees, including
a shared golf cart for 18 holes, per night stay. This package
also includes golf club storage, three meals per day with
lunch at the Golf Deli if you prefer.

Skating, Skiing & Snowshoeing
Enjoy the pristine, winter setting through wonderful, outdoor
activities like ice skating or snowshoeing. Skytop's outdoor,
weather protected rink offers skating for beginners and
experts. And for those a little more daring, set-off on
a winter exploration in a pair of authentic snowshoes.
Two lifts service the four downhill trails, and snow is
plentiful with 100% snowmaking on all trails. Families with
children, retirees, beginners and intermediate skiers can
take advantage of four wide, crowd-free, gentle slopes with
a vertical drop of 295 feet.
Weekend Getaway Cross Country Skiing
Cross-country skiers can take advantage of trails such as;
Cross Country Loop, Indian Ladder Falls, Goose Pond, or
West Rim Trail. For the experienced cross-country skier
backcountry skiing is available anywhere on the grounds.
Ski lessons are available at a nominal charge.
Play a game of tennis on Skytop's impeccably maintained
courts that have been newly surfaced and renovated. We have
five Har-Tru courts, two all-weather courts and a night-lighted
paddle tennis court. Their tennis pro offers expert aid
to players of all ages and all levels of expertise. There
are weekend round robins, June through September to test
your skill. Equipment and attire is available.
No matter what season it is, you can always get your feet
wet at Skytop Lodge. Enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools,
perfect for relaxation, fitness and just plain fun. And
in the summer feel free to enjoy the sprawling lake beach,
for fun and sun filled days.
Fishing & Shooting Center
Skytop's private trout stream abounds with freshly stocked
trout and their lakes provide excellent opportunities for
all types of fishing including bass and rainbow trout. Skytop's
superior guides will offer private guiding and instruction
along with the fly fishing schools for anglers of all abilities.
Schools have been scheduled from March through October.
Packages range from a basic 25 targets introductory offer
to a full round of 100 targets. All equipment is provided.
For the novice, they have several easy straightaway stations
where you can hone your skills without the frustrations
of difficult angles. For the experienced shooter, their
15-station sporting clays course will prove to be quite
challenging. Skytop's two stations, three trap shooting
and instructional area is electronically controlled so the
instructor can provide personalized guidance to each shooter.
The Skytop Fly Fishing School
The course includes hands-on casting instruction covering
the forward cast, roll cast, false cast, side cast, shooting
line, and mending.

Located on the fifth floor of the main building is the Skyview
Spa. Just walk through our doors and the aromatherapy alone
will reduce your stress. Relax in their quiet room with
spectacular views of the magnificent gardens and the Delaware
Water Gap before your treatment. They offer Swedish, Deep
Tissue, Neuromuscular and Sports Massages, all provided
by a certified staff of professionals. Indulge yourself
in their variety of European facials, wraps, manicures and
pedicures. Don't forget about the fully equipped fitness
center, which features cardio and weightlifting equipment.
