Situated on a private lake and surrounded by 300 acres of pristine woodlands, this resort is a retreat from the hectic pace of everyday life. For those who enjoy being on the water, a private dock and complimentary rowboat is included with each accommodation. Fresh water anglers will be pleased to find the lake well stocked with bluegill, perch, trout, pickerel, bass and catfish.A favorite summer pastime is swimming at one of the two white sand beaches. Children's playgrounds are located adjacent to the beaches and, for the adults, tennis courts are nearby. Guests seeking more pastoral pleasures can stroll along miles of scenic nature trails that circle the lake and wind through the surrounding woodlands. During the winter months the resort offers skating, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, and ice-fishing. For skiers and snowboarders, the slopes of Camelback are less than ten minutes away. Of course, as the temperature drops outside, you can always curl up with a a good book in front of a warming fire in your own private cottage

Your accommodations:
Mountain Springs Lake takes pride in maintaining the highest standards in every accommodation. Cottages are equipped for housekeeping with bed linens, towels, fully-equipped kitchens (i.e. cookware, dishes, flatware, glasses, coffee maker, etc.), cable television(s) and VCR, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, outdoor charcoal grill, picnic table, fireplace and a complimentary rowboat. Amenities vary slightly with each accommodation

They welcome vacationing families and responsible groups. Any guest whose behavior creates a disruption or interferes with their neighbor is peaceful enjoyment of their accommodation will not be allowed to stay and no refunds of rent will be made.

Rental Payments:
A deposit of 50% is required at time of reservation. This deposit can be made using VISA, Master Card, American Express, or Discover. Your balance, including 6% Pennsylvania tax, is due at time of check-in and may be paid by VISA, Master Card, American Express, Discover, certified check, or money order. Personal checks are not accepted.

Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel for any reason your 50% deposit is nonrefundable unless they are able to re-rent your accommodation for the same time period. If they are able to re-rent your accommodation for the same time period they will refund your deposit less a $50 cancellation fee.

Check In/Out Information:
The grounds and amenities of Mountain Springs Lake are not available for use until you have checked in. Please plan your travel accordingly. Check in time is 4:00 PM on your arrival date. Check out time is 10:00 AM on your departure date. If you do not depart by your check out time, you will be charged a late check out fee of $100 per hour (or any part thereof).

Security:
Unit should be vacated, broom clean, kitchen tidy, damage free and all linens accounted for. They realize accidents happen and breakage occurs. You are required to report accidental damage prior to check-out. If preexisting damage is noticed it must be reported to the office within two hours of check-in. Your credit card will be charged for excessive cleaning and any damages to the premise or furnishings, which occur during your occupancy, excluding normal wear and tear.

Pets:
Absolutely no pets are permitted at any time. Please respect this rule as you will be immediately evicted and all money forfeited if a pet is discovered on the premises.

Lost and Found:
If you forget something call the office as soon as possible. We will make every effort to find the lost item(s) and it will be returned COD plus a $10 service charge. However, we cannot be responsible for items left behind. If unclaimed within thirty days the items are donated to a local charity.

Office Services - Copies, mail, faxes, etc:
Mail and phone messages may be received during regular office hours. Guests are welcome to use fax services for a nominal fee of $1 per page, for incoming and outgoing faxes
