Trained by the New York Metropolitan Opera, Carter has a four-octave range, expansive personality and inspiration approach. He has been in show business since the beginning of rock 'n' roll, and pioneered the group harmonies that defined the genre's earliest music. L.T. and Lee's performance includes tributes to The Four Tops, Temptations, The Drifters, Barry White, AL Green, Nat King Cole and renditions of top standards, golden oldies, contemporary and soul. The Crests were one of the most successful integrated Doo Wop groups of the 1950's, famous for their national smash hit "16 Candles" and their pop/R&B hybrids such as "The Angels Listened In" and "Step by Step." Carter has also performed with The Drifters and Five Satins.
