Day Spa - A tie between Shear Design, South Sixth Street, Stroudsburg and Ken and Company, Main St. Stroudsburg. It's the "Battle of the Day Spa's" in Stroudburg. Look out Shear.... Ken is renovating.

Drinking water, local-not bottled - We taste tested 4 local water sources, Stroudsburg Municipal, East Stroudsburg boro water, bottled water from the supermarket, and well water from a home in Paradise Township. AND THE WINNER IS....Stroudsburg Municipal Authority. Clearly the winner (pun intended). The best taste, and clarity.

Local District Attorney Who Looks Good in Spandex - Just ask anyone who attends the Annual "Mouse House Murder" Theater. Mark Zimmer, who so aptly played Jim Crookshank (Peter Pan) in this years production. A delightful evening out not to be missed next year. Call the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce for the date for 2004.

Kennel - Gatehouse Kennels, Airport Road, East Stroudsburg."The Pet Resort of The Poconos". If you're vacationing in the Poconos, bring your pet(s) along, drop them off at this place and expect them to feel and act like THEY'VE been on a honeymoon when you pick them up.

Place to Live - Hamilton Township Well, OK, Cherry Valley, if we must be specific. There are times and places when, if you shut out all the noise in your mind and just enjoy the view... you'll think you are in West Virginia. The rolling hills, the solitude, they way the sun comes up over the mountains in the morning. It's truly a shame to tell you about this, 'cause if Elmer's family ever decides to give up some of the estate y'all be standing right in line next to me to buy a piece.
