+ Craft Supplies -
The Ribbon Factory Ann Street
Outlet Complex, Stroudsburg. A virtual plethora of craft supplies.
In town and just off Rt I-80. Visitors by the thousands flock
here each year for the huge inventory. 2nd place.. the Christmas
Factory, Marshalls Creek, PA for holiday crafts.
Tannersville Inn Murder Mystery,
Rt. 611 Tannersville. 570-629-3131 Friday nights. Call for reservations.
Mystery Dinner Theater is a total audience participation form
of theater. The way it is presented offers you a chance to play
a real life game of "Clue." It is through interaction and questions
that the murder is solved. The character scripts are so written
that anyone of the characters could have been the murderer,
in fact even the victim does not know who caused his or her
the murder mystery, if you choose to participate as a character,
you might become a jealous lover, owner of a castle, or the
long lost captain of a sailing ship. Again in a darker fantasy
you might become the victim, murderer or a jilted lover. This
is your chance to become someone else, in another day, time
or in another world, and all the while enjoying a good meal.
Radio Station -
From East Stroudsburg University. (Probably from a basement
in one of the Dorms. Thanks for the World View. Though, you
could improve a little by offering NPR) 90.3 WESS is a student
run, non-commercial, FCC licensed radio station located on
the campus of East Stroudsburg University. Featuring a diversified
music format, which gives listeners and Dee-jays more variety
and freedom. If music is not your taste, they have talk shows,
where listeners can call in and voice their opinion on topics
being discussed on the show. Also, WESS is broadcasting
Warrior's home football and basketball games all year long
with play by play from our Sports Director and his or her
sports crew. If that isn't enough, old Vintage radio programs
are on-air an hour every morning. This is not your typical
purpose of WESS is to provide a means of student training
and experience in radio broadcasting, and to provide East
Stroudsburg University and the surrounding communities with
alternative entertainment and educational programming.
Unsual Art Gallery -
Frazetta's, Business Rt 209.
E. Stroudsburg . Opens in May for the season. You cannot just
"walk in" to the Gallery. Call first. The art of Frank
Frazetta. A rare style of art but once seen not forgotten. Unusual
to say the least. This, by the way, is World Class Art. You
may not "like" it. But you have to appreciate the
impact this has made on our culture. The style has influenced
some of our greatest cinema (Conan The Barbarian, Star Wars,
and almost every effort of the genera). Steve Spielberg, George
Lucus and many many other Cinema Directors LOVE Frank Frazetta's
work (and own it!)

Shawnee Playhouse, River Road,
in the town of Shawnee, is one of the most popular playhouses
in the region. It carries the tradition of popular entertainment
in Shawnee, beginning with Fred Waring and his Pennsylvanians,
who orchestrated big band concerts of yesteryear, and who once
lived in the town. Well actually, beginning with the singing
Lennie Lenape Indians who once sang from atop of Eagle rock
just north of the village and carried on by Fred and his group
and Jacki Gleason.
